In this episode, we hear from the new OVW Heavyweight Champion, LJ defends the OVW TV Title against a Bro God, Shiloh Jonze faces Raul LaMotta in an Anarchy Title qualifier, plus more!

Without further ado:

Here we go...

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

Kevin Giza defeats Lukas Gibson. They lock up, and Giza hits Lukas with a twisting headscissors. He hits a running forearm in the corner, then a seated dropkick. Giza riles up the fans, but turns into a clothesline. Lukas hits a bulldog off the second rope. He chops Giza, then hits a running knee. He hits an inverted neckbreaker for 2. Giza comes back and hits a super kick on Lukas on the corner turnbuckle. He hits a running knee to the face for 2. He then connects with a curb stomp for the 3.

"The Real Deal" Randall Floyd defeats Billy O. They exchange wristlocks and armbars early. Randall hyper-extends Billy's leg. Off the ropes, Billy catches him with a hip toss and dropkick. He hits a splash in the corner and gets a 2. He goes for the high knee, but Randall moves and Billy hits his knee off the turnbuckle. Randall hits it off the canvas and twists the leg up in a submission. Billy rolls him over for a 2. Randall kicks the knee and drops some elbows on it. He locks in the Figure Four and pulls on the ropes for extra leverage. The ref catches him the second time and the hold is broken. Billy rolls him up again for 2. Randall goes to drop a leg, but Billy moves. Randall misses a charge in the corner and Billy clotheslines him and hits a spinebuster. Billy tries to lift him on his shoulders, but his knee goes out. Randall then hits him with the Deal Breaker for the 3.

OVW Women's Champion Jaylee (w/DL3) defeats Meg. Meg controls early with the size advantage. She takes Jaylee down with a big backbreaker, then Jaylee acts like her knee is hurt. This allows her to attack Meg from behind and pull her down by her hair. She stretches her out in a submission, but Meg fires back. She tries a pin for 2. Off the ropes, Jaylee twists around Meg and locks in an STF for the tapout.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on WBNA-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 11AM and 9PM (check local listings) and on OVW's official website Mondays at www.ovwrestling.com/ovw-media.html.

Mike Lacett, Dr. Ted McNaler, & Gilbert Corsey are on commentary, and Brittany & KC are the ring announcers.

Gilbert Corsey is in the ring saying chaos doesn't begin to describe what happened at the Saturday Night Special. A man who was fired got back in, won the OVW Heavyweight Title, and is his guest at this time...Michael Hayes. Hayes comes out and says he did it with the truth. There was no reason for Dean Hill to fire him and did nothing wrong. What he did right was beat two people at the Special and everyone can cheer for Randy (Royal) all they want, but he went crying home and won't be here. He says he will be champion at Run for the Ropes on April 27. Dean comes out and says congratulations, you announced Run for the Ropes. He says Hayes is trying to ruin everything, but he is going out of his way to make sure he finds a great opponent at the April Saturday Night Special so he doesn't make it to Run for the Ropes. Hayes hands Dean a paper, and it's a subpoena for another hearing in front of the KBWA on his second grievance. He says he will take care of it like he did with the first one, but in the meantime, he is still in charge! Since "Mr. Miserable" likes chaos so much, he is making the main event tonight Mr. Miserable vs. Dapper Dan in an anarchy rules match!

ANARCHY RULES QUALIFIER: Shiloh Jonze defeats "Rudo" Raul LaMotta. Raul goes after Shiloh with cookie tray shots. They both throw powder in each other's eyes, then Raul tries to roll up the ref. Shiloh hits Raul with a blow dryer and chokes him with the cord. They sword fight with sticks and crutches, then Shiloh hits Raul with a giant rubber rat in the corner. Raul comes back with the cookie tray, but Shiloh says to wait, he's got something for him. He pulls out the OVW Rule Book. Raul mopes and says he can't read. Shiloh then hits him from behind in the back of the head with it for the 3!

"Shotgun" Tony Gunn (w/Flex) defeats BGB. Gunn has the early advantage, and Flex assists by choking BGB in the ropes. BGB starts to fire back, but Gunn works him over some more. BGB again fires back, but as he charges Gunn, he gets caught by a knee to the face. Gunn then hits the reverse DDT for the 3.
After the match, he has Flex lock BGB in a sharpshooter.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE: "The River City Dragon" Logan James (c) defeats "Bro God" Dustin Jackson (w/Colton Cage, DL3, OVW Women's Champion Jaylee, & Dimes). A quick opening. Dustin hits a beautiful dropkick, but LJ takes him down and hits a standing coup de grace. Dustin takes him down for 2. He hits a hard back elbow and a splash for 2. He hits LJ in the face and throws him in hard in the corner. He clotheslines him, then pins for 2. LJ comes back off the ropes, but gets caught with a decapitating clothesline. Dustin goes up top, but LJ catches him with a kick to the head, sending Dustin to the floor onto Cage. LJ then hits a moonsault onto Dimes & the Bros as DL3 & Jaylee escape danger. Back inside, Dustin tries to fire back, but LJ takes him down with some forearm shots. He gets him locked in an STF for a tapout victory.
After the match, DL3 & the Entourage attack LJ. Cardinal runs out and helps fight them off. Cardinal looks for a fist bump, but LJ shoves his hand away.

Michael Hayes defeats Dapper Dan. Dan goes right after Hayes. He hits him with the kendo stick and stomps a mudhole in him in the corner. He htis a big side slam, and Hayes rolls out. Dan goes after him, but Hayes hits him with a ladder. Dan hits him back. Inside, Hayes throws a chair in Dan's face, then hits him with the kendo stick and chokes him with it. Hayes pounds him. He brings the ladder in and Dan kicks the ladder into him. He lays it across Hayes and hits him with a chair for 2. He hits him with the kendo stick and throws him into the ringpost. He hits him against the barricade. He tries to pin on the floor for 2. Hayes takes Dan down and hits him on the floor, then gets a wooden board. Dan recovers and hits him with a chair. Dan goes for a cannonball, but Hayes moves and Dan crashes into the board. Hayes tries to pin for 2. He tries again for 2. He tries a third time, and Dan still kicks out at 2. Dan rolls in and Hayes follows. Hayes hits and smacks him, but Dan gets up and fires back. He hits a huge clothesline and grabs a chair.
Flex & Tony Gunn run out. Flex causes a distraction and Gunn low blows Dan.
They tie him up in the ropes and Hayes pounds away on him. He gets the title belt and then locks in the mandible claw until Dan passes out.

This ended the TV taping.

Post-Show Dark Matches:

DL3, "Bro God" Colton Cage, Dimes, & Apollo (w/Jaylee & Dustin Jackson) defeat Big Zo, "Livewire" KTD, "The Boy Wonder" Sam Thompson, & William Lutz. Dimes, Cage, Apollo, & DL3 tag in against Lutz and all get taken down. Sam tags in and locks in a side headlock on DL3. Zo tags in and slams him and hits the Are You Serious legdrop for 2. He hits the cartwheel butt bump and tags KTD. KTD takes him down for 2 and tags Sam in. Off the ropes, DL3 holds on and as Sam goes to grab him, Dimes super kicks him in the head. DL3 tags Dimes, and Dimes hits a bulldog for 2. Apollo tags in and Apollo clubs Sam across the chest. Cage tags in and kicks him and throws him in the corner to hit the "B-R-O" and an el-bro. DL3 tags in and hits the corner clothesline and tags Dimes. Dimes & Sam go down, and tag out to DL3 & Zo. Zo cleans house, slamming DL3 & Dimes at the same time. He launches KTD onto both of them, but Apollo breaks the pin. Things get out of control with all 8 men fighting, leaving KTD in the ring with DL3. DL3 hits KTD from behind and hits the Director's Cut for the 3.

Aloicious Hamilton defeats Amon (w/"The Void": Chace Destiny, Houdini, & Nigel). Amon attacks Alo before the bell and totally dominates the early going. The Void gets in some cheap shots from the outside. Alo jumps over a charging Amon and fires away in the corner. Amon regains control after hitting a back body drop for 2. Amon tosses Alo to the outside and he fights the Void off, but Amon goes out and hits him from behind before slamming him on the floor. Amon tosses him back in and tries to pin for 2. He stretches Alo in a submission. Alo fights out and hits a faceplant and a splash in the corner. Off the ropes, he runs into abig clothesline. Amon chokes him in the ropes, but does not break the count, so the ref calls for the DQ.
After the match, Amon tries to choke Alo with the chain, but Big Zo & Billy O run out to fight him and the Void off.

As always, thanks for reading!
