This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, May 3, 2017. This episode can be seen on WBNA-21 in the Louisville area on Saturday at 11AM and 10PM, and online on Monday at www.ovwrestling.com/ovw-media.html. In this episode, the Bad Boys Club end up in surprise tag action, Daniel Eads is in action against LJ, Rev. Stu defends the OVW TV Title against Tyler Matrix in the main event, plus more!

Without further ado:

Here we go...

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

Apollo & Ca$h Flo (w/Josh Ashcraft) defeats Dustin Jackson & Houdini. A squash that sees Dustin get a hard chop from Ca$h, followed by the full nelson slam from Apollo. Houdini gets the Wall Street Crash from Ca$h trying to stop the pin.

"American Warrior" Adam Slade defeats Colton Cage. Cage comes out and says not to cheer for Slade. He thought they were friends, and says they came up together in the business, but he's changed. He says he's a low-down cheat. Cage is in control of the offense, hitting a side slam and side effect. He misses a top rope legdrop, and Slade locks in the Figure Four. Slade holds the ropes for leverage and Cage's shoulders are on the mat for the 3.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 11AM and 10PM (check local listings) and on OVW's official website Mondays at www.ovwrestling.com/ovw-media.html.

Ron Hed & Gilbert Corsey are on commentary, and KC is the ring announcer.

"The Man of Tomorrow" Daniel Eads defeats LJ. LJ with some forearms, but Eads catches him with a big kick to the face. LJ back with kicks to the leg, and charges into Eads in the corner. LJ goes up but misses a frog splash. Eads hits the super superman punch for the 3. After the match, Gilbert Corsey interviews Eads. He asks for his thoughts about facing Tyler Matrix at the Rusty Bucket this Tuesday. Eads says he has a lot of thoughts, but one vision. He will go through Matrix on Tuesday, but will then hit Big Jon so hard that he will become OVW Heavyweight Champion at SNS, and be the "champ of tomorrow".

Dapper Dan defeats Lukas Gibson Jacobs. Dan wins in a squash after putting Lukas away with the Death Valley Driver. After the match, Dan delivers a second. He then sets up for a third, but Big Zo comes out and confronts Dan, going nose-to-nose with him.
Dan backs away and leaves the ring.

There is an interview played over the loudspeakers featuring local DJ Tony Vanetti. He talks about his history with Shannon the Dude and basically says he thinks it's wrong that Shannon is walking around with the "Radio Heavyweight Title".
Adam Revolver comes to the ring with Shannon. Shannon says Vanetti is an old washed-up man and he would drop him faster than his radio ratings. Adam says he will drop Matrix at the SNS lumberjack match and personally invites Vanetti to be ringside to witness greatness.

Gilbert Corsey brings out the Bad Boys Club and says that since Billy O is out, they will not defend the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles against Billy O & Kevin Giza at the SNS, but they will defend them in a gauntlet match. Randy Royal asks "Is this thing on?" He asks Shane Andrews if he heard anything about a gauntlet. Shane says the brass must have something against them. They say they will still wreck lives just as they did with Billy O. Giza comes out and says he wants revenge for his partner, losing the titles, and for them trying to end his career last week. Randy says they would, but he doesn't have a partner.
Big Jon comes out and says he doesn't have anything currently set between now and the SNS when he faces Daniel Eads, so how about he partners with Giza and they have a match right now. Gilbert hears from the back that a ref is coming out and it's on...
Big Jon & Kevin Giza defeat "The Bad Boys Club""Bad Boy" Shane Andrews & "Double R Superstar" Randy Royal (w/"Bad Girl" Jessie Belle). The BBC attacks them before the bell and works over Giza for the majority of the match. They hit the high knee, top rope back stomp combo, Royal hits the Royal Flush, and Shane hits a DDT through the ropes, but can't put Giza away. He gets the hot tag to Jon. Jon cleans house and tags Giza back in. He launches Giza at Shane with a dropkick, and then pulls Giza into splashing Royal in the corner. Jon then grabs Giza, pressing him over his head, and launches him onto the BBC on the outside. As Giza gets up, Daniel Eads comes through the curtain and blasts Giza with the superman punch, causing a DQ.

Cali comes out for an interview. She is asked who her partner will be this Tuesday at Rusty Bucket. She says it's for her to know, and you to find out. Her and her partner will be facing Amazing Maria James & Madi Maxx. She says they will defeat them, and then she will go on to SNS and defeat Madi for the Women's Title.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE MATCH: "The Pastor of Disaster" Rev. Stu (c) defeats "The Young Lion" Tyler Matrix. An excellent back-and-forth match for the main event. In the end, Matrix connects with the swanton, but Shannon the Dude runs out to distract the ref. With the ref's back turned, Adam Revolver runs out and clocks Matrix from behind with the "Radio" title. Stu gets the 3.
After the match, Stu realizes what happened and takes Adam down. Shannon distracts Stu, and Jade Dawson runs out and attacks Stu from behind.
Jade turns into a glitch kick from Matrix, followed by the swanton. As Matrix gets up, Daniel Eads is out and connects with the super superman punch.
Big Jon comes out and exchanges blows with Eads.
They have to be separated by the locker room.

This ended the TV taping.

Post-Show Dark Matches:

Chace Destiny defeats Little Damion. They are brought out by Jade Dawson. Chace gets the win after a faceplant.
Jade gets in the ring, has Damion get on his knees before him, and slaps him in the face.

"The Trinidadian Titan" Justin Smooth defeats David Lee Lorenze III. David throws a temper tantrum before the match that he has to face Smooth. Smooth controls most of the match and puts David away with the running big boot.

As always, thanks for reading!
