This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, February 8, 2017. This episode can be seen on WBNA-21 in the Louisville area on Saturday at 11AM and 10PM, and online on Monday at www.ovwrestling.com/tv. In this episode, Big Jon says a heartfelt goodbye to the fans, Robbie Walker hosts another edition of Brush Hour, the return of a bald Trevor Steeleplus more!

Without further ado:

Here we go...

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

Jade Dawson defeats Little Damion. Jade controls early. Damion takes Jade down and hits some crawling headbutts. Jade comes back and goes for his finisher, but Damion reverses it into the Eat Da-feet. He goes up top, but misses a flying headbutt. Jade connects with the snap DDT to get the 3.

Cardinal defeats Lucas Gibson Jacobs. Cardinal beats up Lucas early, but Lucas gets in some dropkicks and an enziguri. Cardinal regroups on the outside and pulls Lucas' head down across the rope as Lucas reaches out for him. Cardinal gets in, takes Lucas down, and locks in a rear naked chokehold. Lucas passes out and Cardinal wins by submission.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 11AM and 10PM (check local listings) and on OVW's official website Mondays at www.ovwrestling.com/tv.

Gilbert Corsey, Ron Hed, & Shannon the Dude are on commentary, and Ron is the ring announcer.

Big Jon comes out and takes the mic. He pours out his heart, saying he will miss hearing the fans as he steps out from behind the curtain each week. He's sorry for letting the fans down. He brings out Dean Hill.
Dean hugs him and says that he wishes there was something he could do, but that was the stipulation. He loves him, the fans love him, and if there is ever anything he can do, don't hesitate to call him. Rocco Bellagio comes out and says if Dean Hill's law means anything, he will kick Big Jon out of the building right now!
Dean says Jon can't wrestle anymore, but he's not being exiled from OVW. If he wants to come in with the fans, he can. Rocco wants him out. Dean says he actually has an idea. He already ran it by the staff before, and he could use some help around here. How would Jon like to be his assistant general manager. Jon looks shocked, and Rocco is angry. Jon accepts. Dean says Dean Hill's law is also now Big Jon's law. Jon orders Rocco to get out of the ring. Dean tells Rocco if he touches Jon, he will strip him of the title, and he will also expunge his longest reign streak off the record books!

Dapper Dan defeats LJDan comes out laughing and holding Ringmaster's jacket. He says this is all that's left of the Ringmaster, and this is the last you will hear of the crappy Circus jingle ever again. He defeats LJ in a squash with the Death Valley Driver for the 3.

Robbie Walker comes out to host another edition of "Brush Hour". Robbie welcomes everyone to the hottest and sexiest show on TV and says that he is still your OVW TV Champion after defeating 2 men, if you want to call them that. His guest is someone just as successful as him, from KY Sports Radio, Shannon the Dude!
Robbie & Shannon agree that everyone is jealous of them and are trying to say that Shannon somehow helped him at the Special. All they saw was Robbie pinning Tyler Matrix's shoulders to the mat for the 3. Shannon says his beef with the "Loser" goes back to after the December SNS when they had a Christmas party after the show and Shannon had a match with Matrix, that he won, and he has the cell phone video to prove it. He says Matrix didn't deserve to be champion. Gilbert Corsey interrupts and asks if he is serious about being mad over the Christmas party. Rev. Stuart Miles comes out and says he has a match with Robbie, that Robbie is trying to get out of, but he is here to "show you to grace, after I smash you in the face!"
OVW TELEVISION TITLE: "The King of Hairstyle" Robbie Walker (c) defeats "The Pastor of Disaster" Rev. Stuart Miles. Stu with a shoulder block, a Lou Thesz press, and some healing shots. He runs into an uppercut from Robbie, but Stu reverses a throw into the corner, splashes Robbie, and delivers some more "healing". Robbie ducks under Stu's legs and puts Stu on his shoulders for an electric chair. He chops Stu, delivers a kneedrop, but misses a second. Stu comes back, heals him, and hits the 3 amigos for 2. Robbie comes back with crossroads for 2. He grabs the mirror and the ref pulls it away. As she puts it into the opposite corner, Stu goes after Robbie, but Robbie blinds him with hairspray, and hits the Combover for the 3.

Billy O (w/Kevin Giza) defeats "Shotgun" Tony Gunn. Billy comes out firing, hitting a dropkick and a spinebuster, as well as a reverse body press off the ropes. Gunn pulls him off the ropes when he tries a second. He stomps on Giza's hand and as the ref keeps Giza out, Gunn chokes Billy across the ropes. He knocks him to the outside and locks in a YTO on the floor. Giza grabs his title, and Gunn chases him into a back elbow from Billy. Billy rolls in as the ref counts to 10. Gunn is outraged, saying that they cheated.

Big Zo comes out and says in the words of Jay-Z, "allow me to reintroduce myself". He says he has been with a couple of goons for the last 8 months, carrying Josh Ashcraft and the Legacy of Brutality. He says he is now solo Zo. He is not good at sorry, but good at redemption. He is now fighting for the fans, the paying customer. He is turning OVW into Zo-VW. According to his calculations, it's Zo time!

Trevor Steele defeats "The Young Lion" Tyler Matrix. Matrix comes out and chases Shannon the Dude around the announce desk and to the back. Steele attacks from behind. They go back-and-forth, as Shannon sneaks back out to commentary midway through. Matrix spots Shannon and goes after him, taking him down and pummeling him on the floor. Steele recovers and grabs Matrix up in his torture rack slam finisher on the ring apron. He rolls Matrix in for the 3.

This ended the TV taping.

Post-Show Dark Matches:

Big Zo & Houdini defeat Ultimo Stingray & Dre Blitz after Zo slams Blitz and hits the Zo Bomb for the 3 as Houdini stuns Stingray.

As always, thanks for reading!
