OVW TV #813: "2015 Nightmare Rumble"

This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, March 18, 2015. This episode can be seen on WBNA-21 in the Louisville area on Saturday at 9AM and 10PM, and online on Monday at www.ovwrestling.com/tv. In this episode, we have the Nightmare Rumble for #1 contender, plus more!

Without further ado:

Here we go...

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

Rump Thump defeated Dave-Lo after hitting a standing moonsault for the 3.

Dapper Dan defeated SK Eveslage after hitting the German suplex for the 3.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 9AM and 10PM (check local listings) and on OVW's official website Mondays at www.ovwrestling.com/tv.

Dean Hill & Gilbert Corsey are on commentary, and Shannon the Dude is the ring announcer.

Jessie Belle defeated Ray Lyn after Ray Lyn hit a hurricanrana, but Jessie reversed the pin attempt and held the tights for the 3.

The first two entrants are Adam Revolver & Rump Thump. Leon Shelly is 3rd, Jade Dawson is 4th. Revolver, Jade, & Leon all gang up on Thump until Elvis Pridemoore comes out. Eddie Diamond is 6th. Diamond eliminates Leon. #7 is SK Eveslage, followed by The Assassin at #8. Assassin eliminates SK.
#9 is "Ultraviolent" Chris Silvio. "Rudo" Raul LaMotta is next at #10. Assassin gets eliminated by about 5 people. Randy Terrez is #11. Diamond dumps Revolver from the ring. Dapper Dan joins in at #12 and eliminates Thump.
Mexicutioner comes out and makes a beeline for Terrez. Dapper Dan eliminates Elvis. Deonta Davis is next at #14, followed by "The Pastor of Disaster" Rev. Stuart Miles at #15. Terrez & Mexicutioner eliminate each other. Adam Wylde is #16. Miles accidentally knocks Jade off the apron, and then gets eliminated by Diamond. #17, #18, & #19 are Big Jon, Eric Locker, & "Primetime" Robbie Walker.
#20 is J. Best who is quickly thrown back out by Diamond. Jon, Locker, Wylde & Walker all eliminate each other. Dylan Bostic is surprise entrant #21.
"The King of Knoxville" Shane Williams comes out, but stays at ringside surveying the ring. "The Double R Superstar" Randy Royal is out next and chases Williams in and out of the ring, with Williams eliminating himself. With Royal distracted, he gets dumped out by Raul, Bostic, & Silvio from behind. "Wrestling's Rockstar" Ryan Howe is the final entrant, and he eliminates Deonta & Raul quickly.
The final four are Howe, Bostic, Silvio, & Diamond. Howe dumps Bostic out, and Silvio eliminates Howe. It comes down to Diamond & Silvio.
Silvio leaps at Diamond, but Diamond drops him and catapults him over the top rope for the win! Mohamad Ali Vaez (who was on commentary), along with Miles & Jade, run in the ring and attack Diamond.

This ended the TV taping.

During intermission, Ryan Howe came out and said that he has a partner for this Friday night's Friday Night Fights to face Chris Silvio & Trevor Steele in the Louisville Street Fight...the return of PAREDYSE!

Post-Show Dark Matches:

"Wrestling's Rockstar" Ryan Howe defeated OVW Heavyweight Champion Mohamad Ali Vaez (w/"The Congregation": Jade Dawson & "The Pastor of Disaster" Rev. Stuart Miles). Howe hit the Chart Topper on Ali, but Jade & Miles ran in to cause the DQ.

As always, thanks for reading!

  4. Hey Brian I have a conspiracy question for you when. Randy Royal came back the last time it was when. Jessie Belle was feuding with Mary Elizabeth Monroe , the Randy Royal left & so did Jessie Belle are they a couple ? Is it a conquidence ? Or a conspiracy theory involving them & the issues that Dean the announcer hinted on during the match w//Jessie Belle

    1. Coincidence. Royal had an arm/shoulder injury, and Jessie Belle was gone simply because there was no women's division. They are NOT a couple. The women's division might get interesting soon...stay tuned.
