OVWmania Presents: OVW Top 20 (Ed. 29)

This is the OVW Top 20 for the week of November 20-26, 2012 exclusively on OVWmania. As we approach the December SNS, where does the OVW roster rank this week?

#1) CRIMSON (Last Week: #1)

CURRENT TITLES: OVW Heavyweight Champion

LAST WEEK: Defeated James "Moose" Thomas.

*The OVW Heavyweight Champion holds at #1 thanks to a win over Moose, but give an assist to Jack Black. Crimson is now looking to kick back and relax since he doesn't believe his opponent for SNS will be able to make it after suffering a leg injury at the hands of the Wild Cards.

#2) ROB TERRY (Last Week: #2)

LAST WEEK: N/A.

*Big Rob was out rehabbing last week and hopes the third time is the charm when he meets Crimson at SNS for the OVW Heavyweight Championship. Can the Welsh Colossus overcome the odds and his injury to make it to SNS?

#3) THE GUTCHECKERS: Sam Shaw & Alex Silva (Last Week: #3)

LAST WEEK: Defeated the Wild Cards & Rudy Switchblade.

*Shaw & Silva continue to succeed as a team and are no doubt next in line for the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles after getting a pin on 1/2 of the current champions in Switchblade last week. Let's just hope there are no ill feelings following their match on the Thanksgiving IMPACT.

#4) "SMOOTH" JOHNNY SPADE (Last Week: #5)

LAST WEEK: Defeated Jack Black.

*Spade will finally settle things once and for all with Doug Williams at the next SNS. After experiencing Chaos Theory last week, will Spade let it happen again? Or does Spade overcome the mind games and finally get some revenge against the British Backstabber?

#5) THE BEST TEAM EVER: Rudy Switchblade & Jessie Godderz (Last Week: #4)

CURRENT TITLES: OVW Southern Tag Team Champions

LAST WEEK: Rudy teamed with the Wild Cards in a loss to the Gutcheckers.

*Are the tag team champions experiencing some turbulence? It wasn't a good week last week for either member of BTE as Rudy was pinned in a handicap match and Jessie was forced to wear a turkey suit on IMPACT.

#6) JASON WAYNE (Last Week: #6)

LAST WEEK: N/A.

*The leader of the Platoon was nowhere around the Davis Arena last week. Was he looking for new recruits? He has stressed the importance of having backup, and already has an impressive group with the OVW Television Champion, Joe Coleman, Jack Black, and TNA star Kid Kash.

#7) TARYN TERRELL (Last Week: #10)

CURRENT TITLES: OVW Women's Champion

LAST WEEK: Defeated Scarlett Bordeaux.

*Taryn successfully defended the OVW Women's Title, but the normally laid back Knockout experienced something last week that might have made her snap. After Taeler Hendrix gave her a "doggy treat", Taryn screamed in embarrassment and frustration. Will she get a chance to get even with the fiery redhead?
#8) JOE COLEMAN (Last Week: #7)

CURRENT TITLES: OVW Television Champion

LAST WEEK: Lost to Jamin Olivencia by DQ.

*Once again, Coleman walks out of the Davis Arena with the belt, but another loss by disqualification. Can the Jacked Knight win fair and square?

#9) JAMES "MOOSE" THOMAS (Last Week: #8)

LAST WEEK: Lost to Crimson.

*Moose was very impressive in his match last week with the current OVW Heavyweight Champion, Crimson. Unfortunately, he never had a chance with a biased ref in the Platoon's Jack Black. Although Moose was very convincing that he deserves an opportunity at a future Heavyweight Title shot, he will first have to disperse of the POW.

#10) THE MOBILE HOMERS: Ted McNaler & Adam Revolver (Last Week: #9)

LAST WEEK: N/A.

*Revolver & the Manbeast were missing in action for a second straight week. There's no doubt they want to get their hands on the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles, but will have to return to competition to do so.

#11) JAMIN OLIVENCIA (Last Week: #13)

LAST WEEK: Defeated Joe Coleman by DQ.

*Jamin has two consecutive wins over the current OVW Television Champion, but has nothing to show for it. Joe Coleman purposely got disqualified to escape again. Will he get another shot at the Jacked Knight? If he does, will he be able to win without Coleman using the DQ rule?

#12) KID KASH (Last Week: #11)

LAST WEEK: N/A.

*The TNA star is the POW's latest recruit, but why did he join Wayne and his men? After being absent last week, OVW fans are still waiting to find out from Double K. Was he helping Wayne search for more back-up?
#13) DOUG WILLIAMS (Last Week: #14)

LAST WEEK: Hit Johnny Spade with Chaos Theory from behind.

*The master technician became a master manipulator last week by tricking Johnny Spade into turning his back so that he could attack from behind. He will finally go 1-on-1 with the Smooth One at SNS. Who will come out on top after all the brawls and attacks?

#14) HEIDI LOVELACE (Last Week: #12)

LAST WEEK: Lost to Taeler Hendrix.

*Heidi is looking for the OVW Women's Title...and Taeler Hendrix. She wants some revenge after being cheated out of her title reign, but will she be forced to take a backseat to the Taeler-Taryn rivalry?

#15) MASCARA MAFIA: Paredyse & Espy (Last Week: #15)

LAST WEEK: N/A.

*Paredyse & Espy are still looking to fire away on the Platoon of Wayne. After being inactive last week, they will need to draw up some battle plans to deal with the growing POW, especially after adding Kid Kash to the mix.

#16) TONY GUNN (Last Week: #18)

LAST WEEK: Defeated Dylan Bostic.

*Tony has been on a hot streak winning back to back weeks over Dylan Bostic. It seems that Tony has the right to "bear" arms and Dylan can't figure out how to stop this "Gunn" control.

#17) TAELER HENDRIX (Last Week: #20)

LAST WEEK: Defeated Heidi Lovelace.

*After a nice win over the former OVW Women's Champion, Taeler is now looking to hit the "jackpot" against Taryn Terrell. Did she go overboard in dumping her puppy's mess all over Taryn's head, or is this all part of a big plan by the fiery redhead?

#18) THE WILD CARDS: Shiloh Jonze & "Rudo" Raul LaMotta (Last Week: #17)

LAST WEEK: With Rudy Switchblade, lost to the Gutcheckers.

*Crimson's cronies are looking to "take out" competitors, but apparently don't do well with the numbers advantage during actual in-ring competition. After losing to Rob Terry 2 weeks ago, they lost to the Gutcheckers this week teaming with Rudy Switchblade of the Best Team Ever.

#19) JACK BLACK (Last Week: #16)

LAST WEEK: Lost to Johnny Spade.

*Louisville's slugger will have to keep his eyes out for a Moose on the loose. After costing him a win against the current OVW Heavyweight Champion, Black got a taste of his own medicine when Moose delivered a Moose Kick to him and caused him to lose to Spade.

#20) RYAN HOWE (Last Week: NR)

LAST WEEK: Defeated "VIP" Joe Rosa.

*Howe finds his way back into the Top 20 after a win over VIP that included him having to watch out for the monster Jose Del Barrio on the outside. If Howe continues "stringing" up more wins, he will be back in the title picture very soon.

MISSING THE CUT:
-Chris Silvio
*Silvio had last week off, but when he returns, we are sure he will be right back in the Top 20.

-Eddie Diamond
*EFD picked up a win last week, but became the "Suckah of the Week" by trusting Crimson and doing a live Mixtape.

-Dylan Bostic
*Bostic keeps coming up short the last 2 weeks against Tony Gunn. Who sucks now?

KEEP AN EYE ON:
-Jessie Belle
*The ginger-haired femme fatale is always a threat in the OVW Women's Title picture.

-Epiphany
*Just like Jessie Belle, Epiphany is always ready for competition and another opportunity at gold.

***Thanks to "Mr. SC" for his votes/contributions to this week's rankings.***
